A referendum is an opportunity for local voters to support the local school corporation with additional property tax revenue beyond what could be collected without a referendum.

MSD Pike Township will use the referendum funds to pay for the following:
- Loss Learning Enhancement Programming and Staff Recruitment, currently supported through Federal Relief Funds
- Teacher and Staff Retention and Recruitment
- School Safety and Security Programs and Projects

No. This is the first time MSD of Pike Township has sought an operating referendum.

Construction projects are NOT funded using operating referendum proceeds.

The duration of the operating referendum would be eight years. The tax rate would be $0.24 per $100 of net assessed value.
