2026-2027 Transportation Details, Important Info & Helpful Resources

Transportation information is available in Skyward for families who indicated that their student(s) will be bus riders when they completed online registration/enrollment for the upcoming school year.

Please contact your child's school directly to update your address or discuss questions or concerns regarding the transportation information in Skyward for your child.

If your child needs to be picked up or dropped off at a daycare or alternate address within your school’s boundaries, a new transportation request form must be filed. Please contact your school's main office secretary to complete this request.

Please note that processing daycare and address changes may take up to three business days.

Here comes the bus is an easy-to-use website and mobile device app that enables parents and caregivers to view the real-time location of their child’s school bus on a computer, tablet, or smartphone. In addition, email alerts and push notifications help parents send their students to the bus stop at just the right time.

Indiana Senate Bill 78 was signed into law by Governor Mike Braun and took effect July 1, 2026. The law requires every public school and charter school in Indiana to adopt a wireless communication device policy that restricts student use of cell phones, tablets, smartwatches, gaming devices, and similar devices for the entire school day — not just during instructional time. This is often called a “bell-to-bell” policy.

Under the law, school districts must choose one of two approaches:

Building on our district’s “Power Down for Success” initiative, student devices will be stored as follows during the school day:

Devices should be powered off before the school day begins and may be used again after dismissal.

The law allows exceptions for students who need a device to manage a documented medical condition with an order from a licensed health care provider, for translation needs, or when otherwise authorized by school administration.
