Loving Care

Welcome to the Loving Care Program. As a part of the Metropolitan School District of Pike Township, we provide before and after school child care at all Pike Township elementary schools. We also offer child care during school breaks, holidays, and summer vacations. The Loving Care Program is open to children who are currently enrolled in a Pike Township School, are in kindergarten through grade 6, and are not older than 12 years old.

The curriculum for our program encourages the completion of homework assignments and provides both educational and recreational activities for those children enrolled.

Now Accepting CCDF

Pike Township Loving Care now accepts CCDF vouchers at all locations!

The Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) is a federal program that assists families with child care tuition costs. If your family is eligible, a CCDF voucher can pay up to 100% of your child's Loving Care tuition!

In addition, Indiana has recently expanded income eligibility for CCDF! Under the new guidelines (from 127% of the federal poverty level to 150% - which equals around $45,000 annual income for a family of four), families who were previously not eligible for CCDF may now be eligible!

If your child is a current Loving Care participant, and you have a current CCDF voucher and have not already received a provider form from our office, please reach out to let us know.

If you do not have a current CCDF voucher and are interested in applying or learning more, please visit Early Ed Connect.  Through the online portal, you can access an application, assess your family's eligibility, and learn next steps. Families who were not previously eligible can apply under the newly expanded guidelines beginning August 1st.
