Title IX

Title IX is a federal law that says a school has a responsibility to respond to gender discrimination promptly and efficiently. This can be in the form of sexual misconduct, dating violence, stalking, or retaliation. The Metropolitan School District of Pike Township takes this responsibility very seriously in ensuring these matters are handled with the utmost care and discretion.

General Reporting Statement & Title IX Coordinator

Complaints or reports alleging sexual assault, sexual harassment, dating violence, stalking, or gender discrimination, including sexual orientation or gender identity, involving an MSD of Pike student, employee, or person affiliated with MSD of Pike should be reported to the Title IX Coordinator. Complaints or reports may be made anonymously, but no disciplinary action will be taken against an alleged aggressor solely on the basis of an anonymous report. The Title IX Coordinator for the Metropolitan School District of Pike Township is Dr. Justin Hunter, JHunter@pike.k12.in.us.
