Pike approved to offer free breakfasts & lunches for 2022-2023

MSD of Pike Township will be implementing the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for meals served on the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2022-2023 school year.

All students enrolled at MSD of Pike Township are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge each day of the 2022-2023 school year. No further action is required of you. Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit an application.

What does my family need to do?

No further action is required for students to be eligible for this CEP meal program. All MSD of Pike Township Schools can participate in this CEP meal program without paying any fees, or submitting any applications.

Please note, students will still need cash or money deposited into their lunch accounts to purchase extra menu items and a la carte offerings.

To request a refund please submit in writing your Student’s ID number, Name and School, to the school front office or to Chartwells’ main office located at 6801 Zionsville Rd, Indianapolis IN 46268.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
