Principal's Message

I want to welcome you to the 2018-19 school year! This year, our school-wide theme is “Create”. We hope that you will join us on our journey of creation. We hope to create a love of learning that will last for years to come. We hope to create mathematicians, readers, scientists, artists, the list goes on and on. Snacks Crossing is located on the corner of 56th Street and Moller Road. Our student body consists of a diverse blend of about 550 Pre-K to 5th Grade students. Our diverse population allows our students to learn from one another in ways that you will not find in other communities. One of my goals at Snacks Crossing is to make sure we create a learning environment where students feel safe enough to take chances with their learning. We want our students to exhibit leadership skills along with a strong emphasis on collaboration and critical thinking. Students are exposed to technology before they can read, and as educators, we are adapting our approach to education to help create 21st Century Learners.
