Pike High School and Pike Freshman Center

Pike High School, a culturally diverse public educational institution, engages students through exceptional learning opportunities in a safe, secure and stimulating environment. The staff, parents, and community work as partners to enhance the academic, social, physical and ethical development of all students. Lifelong learning is encouraged through an emphasis on a challenging academic curriculum and career choices.

The Metropolitan School District of Pike Township is one of fewer than 400 public school districts in the nation being honored by the College Board with a place on the 2nd Annual AP® Honor Roll for simultaneously increasing access to Advanced Placement coursework while maintaining or increasing the percentage of students earning scores of 3 or higher on AP exams.

The Pike Performing Arts Department is one of the largest and most comprehensive in the state with five concert bands, two jazz bands, six orchestras, eight choirs, numerous theatrical groups, winter drum line, winter guard, pep band, two marching bands, and dancers. In addition to these opportunities the department also offers a college credit music theory course, music history, piano keyboard and percussion classes. All areas of the performing arts family have great success stories and share a vibrant outlook for the future.
