Hello Red Devil Families!
Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year at Pike High School/Pike Freshman Center! Traveling through high school is an exciting time for students, and the PHS/PFC staff is looking forward to providing an environment which will allow your son/daughter to experience an outstanding school year!
The contents attached on this web page will provide you with necessary information for all PHS/PFC families. Please read the attachments carefully as they will detail the agenda for Registration Day (Wednesday, July 24) and give information to help start off the academic year smoothly.
To ensure your son/daughter is registered to attend PHS/PFC for the 2019-2020 school year, please visit http://www.pike.k12.in.us/Content/regisitration and scroll to the bottom of the page and complete the registration process online.
The 2019-2020 Student Handbook in posted on the web page, which includes important parent/student guidelines. We have pulled two pieces of information from the Student Handbook and placed them in separate documents on this web page: Grooming Code and Tardy/Attendance Policy. These are important in regard to dressing for Photo IDs/Pictures on Registration Day and timeliness for the first day of school.
The best way to impact your son/daughter in a positive way is by having a partnership between parents, students, and staff at Pike High School/Pike Freshman Center. If you have any concerns during the school year, please make every effort to contact your child’s teacher or coach first. If you feel your concerns have not been addressed appropriately, we will work with you to follow the chain of command and help your experience with us to be well rounded and helpful. Likewise, a staff member from PHS/PFC will contact you in a timely manner if there are issues related to your son/daughter that need to be discussed.
Thank you for entrusting your child to us for another school year. We look forward to building positive and long lasting relationships throughout the time you are a part of the Red Devil family! Continue to enjoy your summer!
