On Thursday October 26th from 7:30 to 9:30 pm, Pike Performing Arts Center is hosting the U.S. Air Force Concert Band and Singing Sergeants. These acts are two of the six performing ensembles within The United States Air Force Band which is the premier musical organization of the U.S. Air Force. The Air Force Concert Band is excited to play a new wind ensemble version of "Red Tail Skirmish", which celebrates the history and legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen. They will also be joined on stage by some of Pike High School’s very talented band and choir students. The onstage experience affords our students the opportunity to perform alongside musicians demonstrating Air Force excellence and professionalism.
Based out of Washington, D.C., The U.S. Air Force Band honors those who have served, inspires American citizens to heightened patriotism and service, and positively impacts the global community on behalf of the U.S. Air Force and the United States of America.
There is plenty of free parking and the Pike Performing Arts Center is handicap accessible.
