MSD of Pike Township, the Pike Performing Arts Department and the Pike Performing Arts Center are proud to host The United States Navy Concert Band. Based out of Washington D.C., the Navy Band will present a FREE concert at our state of the art performing arts center on Tuesday April 4, 2017 at 7 pm. The doors will open at 5:30 pm. THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT!
Under the baton of Capt. Brian O. Walden, the band will present a variety of popular and classical favorites. This special performance by the Navy’s premier musical organization is part of the Navy Band’s national tour. The band performs frequently at the White House and the U.S. Capital Building and has participated in 22 presidential inaugurals.
The following members of the Pike High School Band will join the Navy Band on stage to perform John Philip Sousa’s “Washington Post March":

The concerts are meant to be for everyone and the Navy Band strives to be entertaining to veterans, families, individuals and those interested in joining the Navy. For those interested, Navy recruiters will be available for any questions at most tour performances.
