How will state mandated assessment administration be addressed while students are away from school buildings? 

 

Governor Holcomb’s Executive Order 20-05 states, “All state-mandated assessments are cancelled for the 2019-2020 academic year.”

Building Access for Personal Items

 

At this time we cannot grant access to our buildings; however, we will share details with you as soon as we are safely able to do so.

Grades

Students are expected to participate in remote learning. Grades for the 4th quarter will be based on the student’s 3rd quarter grade and participation in remote learning opportunities. It should be noted that participation in remote learning can improve the impact of your final grade.

Attendance

Students’ attendance will be based on their participation in assigned activities and lessons. 

Technology Concerns

 

If you need assistance with technology because you do NOT have a device or internet access, call our Hotline and leave a message at (317) 387-2222.

 

Obtaining password reset support for students while home:

  1. Call 317-387-2525 and press 1 for students
  2. Leave a message with your name, ID number, and a return phone number

 

Calls placed before 3:00 will be returned on the same day.  When the call is returned, please provide the following:

●      Students: username, date of birth, and homeroom teacher’s name

●      Parents:  Name, Phone number, email address, and home address

Teacher & Administration Communication

You can contact your child’s teachers through Canvas messaging and/or email. Staff email addresses can be found by clicking on the course title and then teacher name in the Skyward grade book or via the staff directory on each school’s website.

Fees (book rentals; lunch accounts)

 

Fees, such as book rental can be mailed to the Administrative Service Center 6901 Zionsville Rd., Indpls, IN 46268 - Attn: Darlene Eberhardt.

 

Payments can also be paid online at www.pike.k12.in.us. Click on the “School Payments” link found at the bottom left side of the home page.

 

Lunch balances can be paid through the My School Bucks app or online at www.pike.k12.in.us. Click on the “Lunch Payments” link found at the bottom left side of the home page.

All enrollment and registration will take place online via the links provided at this time. Dates for future in-person registration, enrollment, and Kindergarten Round up opportunities will be provided when possible.
