Principal's Message

Message from Principal Pitman: College Park Elementary is housed in a beautiful new building in a quiet neighborhood. We have the latest in technology and the newest furnishings. The award winning architecture of our building provides light and an optimal learning environment. The media center is the central focus of our school and is located in the middle of our building. We have a unique courtyard for learning, reading and exploring. On a rainy day the water fall appears and provides a backdrop for reading in the story pit. Our new school opened the summer of 2014. We believe that school should be an amazing place where kids have fun, feel supported and have a desire to learn and grow. At College Park, we want our children to love learning. We create that feeling at College Park by offering our students real life experiences through inquiry based learning projects. Children are naturally curious and we need to expand on their curiosity and provide them with the reading, writing and math tools needed to discover the world around them.
