The Scholastic Assessment Test, more commonly known as the SAT, is a globally recognized college admissions test by College Board. The intentions of the test is to evaluate each student's readiness for college. College Board tests the English, math, and reading skills that are required in colleges and/ or universities. The scoring of the test can go on from a range of 1600 to 2400 point scale.

Although the essay portion is optional, most colleges and/ or universities require the essay. The cost of the SAT test is $51 for US citizens or $78-$99 internationally. But if you have financial problems or can't afford paying for the test, you can recieve a fee waiver to register instead.
