Principal's Message

Welcome to the Guion Creek Elementary School website. Guion Creek is a geothermal school that is equipped with state of the art technology for our students and their families. This new building houses children from kindergarten through fifth grade. Guion Creek Elementary is one of Pike’s magnet schools for the High Ability Program and it is a C.L.A.S.S. (Connected Learning Assures Successful Students) School. We set high expectations and strive to create an educational environment where students are actively engaged in learning. Teachers use the “Workshop” method to teach reading, writing and math, while integrating social studies and science into the core curriculum. Guion is a great place where children take pride in their school as well as the service learning projects they contribute to in the community.
